Teachings on Practical Buddhism -
Helping the Lay Buddhist Follow the Path and
Incorporate Buddhist Practice
into Contemporary Daily Life
Greetings from Hanh Niêm, Ronald Hirsch
So many who strive to follow the Buddhist path experience barriers that frustrate their progress. I have walked the path of Buddhism for 30 years now and have certainly experienced my share of barriers. But along the way, I have had the good fortune to have had some powerful teachers who opened many gates for me. That teaching together with my own practical experience and delving into the Buddha dharma has allowed me to find much peace and happiness after a lifetime of suffering,
In my books and on this website, I seek to share that learning and practical experience with others. My goal is to make the path more accessible by breaking out of the dogma of much Buddhist teaching to remove the barriers, combining a fresh take on aspects of the Buddha dharma with a practical perspective based on years of experience. Practical Buddhism is not an oxymoron ... the path can be followed in a practical way, even in our culture.
May you experience peace and happiness.
